Mouse-over the symbols for a preview on the right of the box, and click the symbol you would like to place it in the text at the cursor's current position.

rich text editori tool. Click this icon to insert a non-breaking space (a space that is not condensed to a single space when place next to another space, which is normal on the Internet) at the cursor's current location.

This will separate the top part of your content, which is considered the summary or teaser, from the bottom part, which is your main content. We use the summary or teaser when automatically sending your content to social bookmarking and networking sites, so this icon is very useful for making your submissions easier. Uncheck the "Show summary in full view" checkbox if you do not want tthe summary or teaser to appear at the top of your actual content page.

rich text editori tool. click the icon to create a teaser break (or summary) within your content. anything before the teaser break will be your summary, and anything after will be your main content.
rich text editori tool. Click the insert/edit anchor iconi. A box will open requesting the Anchor name. enter the name, then click the Insert button. You may edit a current anchor, by clicking on it, then click the insert/edit anchor icon. The anchor is like a label, and is most useful when creating a very long page. It allows you to create a link that moves the page to your anchor. Use the insert/edit link iconi to create a link to your anchor. A link to an anchor is simply the anchor name prefaced with "#". For example, if you create an anchor with the name "section1", then the link to your anchor would be "#section1".
rich text editori tool. Place the cursor where you would like to insert an image (or click on a current image you would like to edit), then click the insert/edit imagei icon. If you already have an image from another site you would like to use, paste the URL of that image into the Image URL box. If you would like to upload an image from your computer, click the small box to the right of the Image URL box. Click the Upload link at the top, then click the Browse button to find the image on your computer. Once you find the image, click on it and press the Open button. Then press the Upload button. If you would also like to create a Thumbnail version, check the Create Thumbnails checkbox before clicking the Upload button. This will create a directory for you with all of your uploaded images, so they may be reused when creating other content. Click on the image you would like to insert, and click the Send to Editor link at the top. This will take you back to the Insert/edit image box, with a preview of the image. You may enter a short description and title for the image if you wish, which can help your link popularity, but is not required. Click the Insert button to insert the image.
rich text editori tool. Highlight the text you would like to link to another webpage (or highlight a current link you would like to edit), then click the insert/edit link iconi. Put the URL of the webpage to which you would like to link in the Link URL box (you can get the link by going to the webpage, then copying URL from the URL bar). You may ignore the other boxes if you wish. Click the Insert button to turn the highlighted text into a link. You will not be able to click the link until the content is submitted.
rich text editori tool. Click the "Inserts a new table iconi" to insert a table at the cursor's current location within your content. A new box will open. Cols are the number of columns you would like in your table, and Rows are the number of rows. Cols and Rows are the only required options.
Cellpadding and Cellspacing add padding between cells of the column, and spacing between the cells, respectively. Alignment is how to align the table (on the Left of the page, the Right, or Centered). The Border is the width of the visible border around the table. Put 0 for no border. The Width and Height are the width and height of the table, in pixels. A percentage can be used for the width, and represents the percentage of the width of the entire content area. For example, if you put 100%, the table will match the width of your content area. Class does not need to be set. Click the Table caption checkbox to include a caption area at the top of the table.
Click the Advanced tab at the top of the box to set some advanced options. The only options that are useful here are the Background image, Border color and Background color. Click the little boxes to the right of each of these boxes if you would like to set any of these options.
Click the Insert button to insert the table. When your table is placed, it will take the least amount of space possible until you enter text into the cells, unless you specified a Width for your table.
